Leadership on the Field: Coach James C. Schooler

We are thrilled to welcome Coach James C. Schooler as our new Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach. With over 20 years of experience in coaching both boys' and girls' basketball teams and a rich history of accolades, Coach Schooler brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our academy.

Originally from Louisville and an alumnus of J-Town High School and Murray State University, Coach Schooler’s illustrious career includes significant tenures at local high schools such as Louisville Collegiate, North Oldham, Louisville Ballard, and Louisville Fern Creek. His coaching philosophy is built on the foundation of not only achieving athletic excellence but also mentoring young minds to harness their full potential academically, personally, and socially.

Coach Schooler’s commitment to the development of student-athletes aligns perfectly with our mission at M.H.G. Prep Academy. Under his leadership, we look forward to seeing our athletic programs thrive and our student-athletes develop into well-rounded individuals who are prepared to lead with integrity.
